Great car
By gazootime | on Saturday, May 12, 2018
I have had this car for one year waited a year to do review. I have only one issue with the car when it is windy hard to drive on highway. This car has given me zero problems not one I am very happy with it. The MPG is incredible and acceleration is just fine i did not buy it to run laps around a track. If you are looking for a car to get back and forth to work or run errands this car is perfect. I have read a lot of bashing of this car and it is not justified. It is a reliable inexpensive car if you are looking for speed spend 20k more and get something different.… - 5.0
The right tool.

New 2019 Mirage G4 base model ES w/5-speed manual. 50 M.P.G. average. That’s driving very conservatively and using cruise control. Lots of highway miles. The fuel economy average is calculated after a fill-up for the best accuracy. The power is good. The handling is just right. It’s a simple car and all the better for it. I really like having a back-up camera with a manual transmission. Hill start assist is a big plus also. This is truly a car for anyone. It has the best warranty and has extremely good reliability. For those who don’t want to spend extra for the C.V.T. automatic, the manual equipped model is fine. The clutch is super light and the shifter is easy to place in each gear. Stop and go traffic is no big deal. The steering is light and the turning radius is the best you will ever experience. It’s a good city car, commuter vehicle and just all around. I’ve went on 5 hour trips with lots of hills. It’s easy. For the hills you will be in third and fourth gear. It makes good use of its power. The seats are comfortable and have a nice lumbar support built in. The car has tons of room for its footprint. A lot more of the Mirage line-up will sell soon. There’s so much going for it. Especially how affordable it is. Even OEM parts from Mitsubishi are affordable. A dealer can add fog lights if desired. It’s not possible to beat it overall for what you get in return. I’ll continually recommend this car.… - 3.0
Great city commuter
By Dave | on Saturday, November 02, 2019
My typical travel is 15 miles per day round trip. I have hit up to 50.4 mpg in the city. The city I live in is Sarasota, Florida and has many traffic lights that may lower the average if I get stopped at lights. My top speed is 45 mph during this commute. I was surprised that my highway mileage was way lower on the Interstate doing 70 mph for a distance of roughly 75 miles. It averaged around the upper 30 mpg range. I suppose that for the little three cylinder to maintain 70 mph was a bit of a chore for it. But, for my usual travels, it is the perfect car for me especially given the city mileage. I fill up every three to four weeks. My wife has the identical car and experiences the same results. For a city commuter, I think you could only top this kind of mpg results with a hybrid.…
